Weleearn Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Weleearn platform (“Platform”), including our website, mobile or web applications, and any related services operated by Bueze Tech Limited (“Weleearn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using Weleearn, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Overview of Weleearn

Weleearn is an online learning marketplace that connects:

Students/Learners seeking to learn digital and professional skills
Tutors/Instructors offering teaching services in verified skill areas

We currently support online learning sessions only. All classes are conducted through the Weleearn platform.

Weleearn does not employ tutors. Tutors are independent service providers.

2. Eligibility

To use Weleearn, you must:

Be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal consent in Nigeria
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
Provide accurate and complete information during registration

If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Platform Roles

3.1 Students

Students can:

Book classes with tutors
Fund and manage a secure wallet
Communicate with tutors after at least one completed booking
Join learning sessions via the platform

3.2 Tutors

Tutors can:

Create profiles and list skills
Offer classes in supported skill categories
Set availability and pricing
Receive payments through the platform wallet system

Tutors are automatically evaluated based on profile quality, performance, and student engagement. No formal manual application is required.

3.3 General Users

Users include anyone accessing the Platform for browsing, support, or interaction.

4. Supported Learning Areas

We currently support tutoring in the following areas:

Web Development
Data Analysis
Cybersecurity
UI/UX Design
Digital Marketing

We may expand available skills in the future without prior notice.

5. Class Delivery

All learning sessions are conducted online only through the Weleearn Platform.

Users must not:

Request or pressure tutors for physical/off-platform classes
Conduct payments or arrangements outside the platform

Any off-platform engagement is at your own risk and not supported by Weleearn.

6. Payments and Wallet System

Weleearn uses a secure wallet-based payment system.

Students fund their wallet before booking classes
Funds are reserved and released after confirmed sessions
Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways (e.g., Paystack or similar providers)
We do not store full card details on our servers

All transactions must occur within the Platform.

7. Bookings, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

We support flexible scheduling under the following conditions:

If a booking is within 24 hours, cancellation or rescheduling must be done at least 2 hours before the session
If the booking is scheduled beyond 24 hours, changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance

Repeated abuse of cancellations may affect account visibility or trust rating.

8. Messaging and Communication

Students and tutors can communicate only after at least one completed booking
Messaging is provided strictly for learning-related communication
Abuse of messaging may result in account restrictions

9. Academic Integrity

Weleearn is designed for learning and skill development.

Users agree not to:

Use tutors to complete assignments, exams, or tests
Engage in cheating or academic dishonesty
Misrepresent learning outcomes

Weleearn reserves the right to suspend users involved in academic misuse.

10. Tutor Visibility and Premium Features

Tutor profiles are ranked based on activity, ratings, responsiveness, and availability
Premium tutors may receive improved visibility
Tutors without updated availability may not appear in listings, even if premium

Weleearn prioritizes active and reliable tutors to improve student experience.

11. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information
Maintain confidentiality of your account
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
Not impersonate others or misrepresent identity
Not attempt to bypass platform systems or payments

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

12. Content and Conduct

Users may upload content such as profiles, messages, and learning materials.

You must not upload or share content that:

Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
Is abusive, offensive, or discriminatory
Violates intellectual property rights
Contains malware or harmful code
Attempts to disrupt the Platform

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials on Weleearn belong to Bueze Tech Limited unless otherwise stated.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content without permission
Reverse engineer or exploit platform systems
Use Weleearn branding without authorization

14. Third-Party Services

Weleearn may integrate third-party services such as:

Payment processors (e.g., Paystack)
Communication tools
Analytics services

We are not responsible for third-party service failures or policies.

15. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if:

You violate these Terms
Fraud or abuse is detected
You compromise platform integrity or user safety

Termination may occur without prior notice.

16. Disclaimers

Weleearn provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

Tutor availability at all times
Specific learning outcomes
Error-free or uninterrupted service

Tutors are independent providers, and Weleearn is not responsible for their performance.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Nigerian law:

Weleearn is not liable for:

Losses arising from user interactions
Tutor performance or misconduct
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Payment disputes handled outside platform rules

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid through the Platform for the relevant service.

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weleearn and Bueze Tech Limited from claims, losses, damages, or disputes arising from:

Your use of the Platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your interaction with other users

19. Privacy

Your use of Weleearn is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
